AFOOI was born out of frustration.

After walking into a smoke shop, excited to find something stylish and minimal for my space, I was met with the same old options: bulky, hyper-masculine designs, tacky neon colors, and novelty pieces that felt more like jokes than something I’d actually want to use. There was nothing for women, nothing sleek, nothing that fit the aesthetic of someone who cares about design, quality, and the overall experience of smoking

Beyond the lack of beautiful accessories, I also noticed how smoking—especially for women—is still seen as something shameful, something to be hidden. People associate it with laziness, or something careless and messy. But for so many of us, cannabis is a ritual of self-care. It’s a way to unwind after a long day, to center ourselves, to feel present. It’s not something that should feel secretive or stigmatized.
